Do you ever question why you like something? Have there been instances where you remember that you used to dislike something but you’re now infuriatingly infatuated with it?
It’s a good reflection exercise to ask yourself the simplest questions. Take, for example, these pairs of shoes. I know that in the past, I’d glance over them without a single thought, but now I believe them to be “hot” beyond any sort of limit. But why the adjective “hot”? Why are they so appealing? The curve? The ankle design? Heel length? Rounded toe? Surely none of these unoriginal aspects of a shoe became appealing to my senses on their own… is it because I keep seeing it, keep hearing praise about it, keep seeing others wear it?
It’s strange, because I find the same thing with music as well; the more I listen, the more I like it. Do you?
